Heel Pain, or plantar fasciitis is a common complaint that causes many patients to schedule a visit to their foot doctor. Plantar fasciitis is not usually the result of an injury or trauma. Most often it is the result of the repetition of a daily routine. Other influencers may be - the architecture of your foot, how much standing and walking you are doing, the terrain you are walking on, the type of shoes you wear, and lastly even walking around the house barefoot or in stocking feet as many homes in Florida have floors with hard surfaces.
